“Masdaf” Preferred for Pump and Booster Systems of The Logistics Center of Pınar in Esenyurt

“Masdaf” was also preferred for the pump and booster systems in Pınar’s Esenyurt Logistics Center, which was started to be constructed in 2016 and completed in 2017.

The project, which has an outdoor area of 17.150 m² and an indoor area of 27.000 m², is among the most modern logistics centers in Europe with its smart logistics center and green building characteristics. Pınar Logistics Center aims to be the fastest distribution center on the European side, which will distribute 650 kinds of Pınar branded products as well as Kahve Dünyası and Narca branded products.

In the project, Masdaf Branded

• HDSV series booster sets with complete stainless frequency inverter,
• Circulation pumps with frequency inverters,
• Enduro series wastewater pumps were preferred.

Thanks to the frequency inverters in the pump systems, the parallel pumps will be able to communicate with each other. This allows the total operating hours of each pump to be monitored and real-time peer aging.

The variable speed control feature of the A FXA panel used in HDSV booster system provides high energy saving. The pump is started by the driver based on the pressure need, is released to the network when it reaches maximum speed by making a soft start and the pump to be activated is started softly by the driver. When the pressure need decreases, the speed of the pump on the drive decreases to a minimum. If there is excessive pressure in the system, the pump in the network is stopped and the speed control of the pump on the drive ensures that the pressure is kept constant. 

Masdaf’s innovative Enduro Submersible Pumps are designed to eliminate the “liquid leakage” problem where the motor supply cable is connected to the body. Thanks to its creative design, the helical stuffing box protects the mechanical seal and ensures a long working life by keeping the solid particles in the waste water away from the mechanical seal. There is a “water leak electrode” in the pump that warns of leaks early due to mechanical seal or any reason. The use of thermistor also provides protection against overheating of the motor.

Innovative pump and booster systems, commissioned by Masdaf will provide energy efficient use during the lifetime of a building, thus enabling energy-saving.
