Elmar Towers

“Masdaf” Preferred for the Pump and Booster Systems of Elmar Towers, the Highest Tower of Ankara.

Elmar Towers, built by Elmar Yapı A.Ş at an altitude of 177 meters, is the “highest tower in Ankara”. The project, built on the Eskişehir Road, consists of a total of 803 residences and a shopping center in two 50 and 43 storey towers.

In the Elmar Towers project, which was carried out with an investment of 650 million TL, Masdaf branded;

• Fire pumps with detachable body and double suction in compliance with NFPA 20,
• Complete stainless steel frequency controlled booster sets,
• Circulation pumps with frequency inverters, dry rotors and INM series,
• Enduro series wastewater pumps,
• TM series expansion tanks were used.

Masdaf’s high temperature resistant and long life TM series expansion tanks are designed to keep the static pressure of the pump at the level of use, to prevent sudden pressure changes and to extend the life of the pump.

Innovative circulating pumps directly connected to the installation will adjust the operating speed according to the need when heating need is less, thus preventing unnecessary energy consumption.

The frequency inverter pumps and booster systems used in the project will enable the pumps to communicate with each other via RS 485 cable. In addition, pressure, current, frequency, motor speed, output power, output voltage, set pressure values of the pumps can be read instantly from the graphic LCD display on the inverter. This allows the total operating hours of each pump to be monitored and real-time peer aging.

The Tower will be protected with “fire pumps” produced by of Masdaf offering effective solutions in fire safety and approved by UL/FM having the highest quality standards in the world.
