“Masdaf” Preferred for Fire, Booster Set, Circulation Pumps and Expansion Tanks of Lens Istanbul located in attraction center of Anatolian Side

Lens Istanbul, a housing project with the largest open market on the Anatolian side with its architecture reminiscent of old neighborhood shops, will start to serve in 2020.

The project, built by Lens Yapı, aims to provide an enjoyable life with its 1162 residence flats, 85 street shops with world-famous brands, restaurants, cafes and shops in the neighborhood artisan concept. Located in Kurtköy, Lens Istanbul is right next to TEM Highway, Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Metro Station.

In the project, Masdaf Branded

• “Genio series circulating pumps” with integrated frequency inverter with motor,
• Fire pumps with detachable body and double suction in compliance with NFPA 20,
• Frequency controlled booster sets,
• Enduro series wastewater pumps,
• TM series expansion tanks were used.

Starting to produce a closed expansion tank for the first time in Turkey 23 years ago, Masdaf will serve the project with TM series expansion and contraction tanks with high quality materials. The high temperature resistant and long life expansion tank keeps the static pressure of the pump at the level of use, thus preventing sudden pressure changes and extending the life of the pump.

The inverter system used in the pump and booster systems will provide communication between the pumps via RS 485 cable and 6 pumps can work together with the option of multiple pump system. Remote access to the system will also be provided with the Modbus feature. In addition, pressure, current, frequency, motor speed, output power, output voltage, set pressure values can be read instantly from the graphic LCD display on the inverter. This allows the total operating hours of each pump to be monitored and real-time peer aging.

Innovative pump and expansion tanks to be commissioned by Masdaf will provide energy efficient use during the lifetime of a building, thus enabling energy-saving.
