Masdaf is in Istanbul International Financial Center with Efficient Pump Technologies

Offering efficient and long-lasting pump and hydrophore solutions to prestigious projects at home and abroad with high pump technologies, Masdaf became the solution partner of the "Istanbul International Financial Center", which is aimed to be among the 10 most important financial centres in the world in 2023.

Masdaf, which guides the sector with its nearly half century of experience in the pump sector and high pump and hydrophore technologies developed with its engineering power, continues to be the choice of prestigious projects all over Turkey.

Masdaf's "GenIO MultiHEXA Hydrophore Groups", BlackBOX series self-stocked “Waste Water and Septic Promotion Stations", "Wet Rotor Circulation Pumps” and “Enduro series Submersible Pumps” were preferred in the pump and hydrophore systems to be used in the recreation areas to be built on the 1^st and 13^th parcels of the "Istanbul International Financial Center”, which was built on an area of approximately 300,000 square meters in Ümraniye and is aimed to be located among the 10 most important financial centres in the world in 2023.

It prevents odour

The project includes “BlackBOX series Waste Water and Septic Removal Stations" in Masdaf's 400-750 litre capacity range in wastewater and cesspool lifting systems. The BlackBOX series lifting stations prevent the odour inside the tank from coming out thanks to the special cover on the tank and offer healthy and comfortable living spaces by draining the waste water accumulated in the tank as soon as possible through the Enduro series Submersible Pumps. The collective check-valve in the pump discharge line reduces the loss of operation by preventing the wastewater from returning to the tank and thus extends the pump's operating life.

Advantage of "co-ageing” in multiple pump systems

In the water pressurization systems to be used to meet the pressurized water requirement in the project, "Genio MultiHexa Series Stainless Steel Hydrophores with Frequency Inverter on Motor" with a flow rate range of 5-50 m³/h will serve. GenIO Over Motor Frequency Inverters, which are used in MultiHexa series hydrophores, compensate for the frequency change of the system under variable flow consumption conditions, ensuring more efficient operation of the pumps and the continuity of the pressure. It also offers control advantage by providing instant access to external units (such as building automation system or PLC) with Mod-Bus communication protocol. Smart pump technologies that work efficiently in line with the needs of the system provide both system efficiency and energy saving.

GenIO Over Motor Frequency Inverters, which also display the total operating hours of each pump, offer real-time simultaneous aging in multiple pump systems. It also ensures that the faulty pump is deactivated in case of failure, the backup pump is automatically activated and the system operates without causing any disruption.

Long operating life

Another Masdaf technology used in the project was ENDURO Submersible Pumps, which offered effective solutions for the transfer of dirty and wastewater. The submersible pumps, which eliminate the odor and clogging problem that may occur during the transportation of wastewater, have been developed with superior technology. In addition, the design of the Enduro Submersible Pump eliminates the “liquid leakage" problem experienced in the pump, engine, body components and where the motor supply cable enters the body. The helical seal box, which has a creative design, protects the mechanical seal and offers a long working life by keeping the solid particles in the sewage away from the mechanical seal. In the pump, a "water leak electrode" is used that early stimulates leaks that may occur due to mechanical seal or for any reason.

The project, which is planned to be completed in 2022, will host public banks, private banks, hotels, shopping malls and cultural and congress centres with a capacity of 2,000 people.
