“Masdaf” Preferred for Pump and Booster Systems of Tema Istanbul Bahçe, Award-Winning Life Project

The award-winning living project of the Mesa-Artaş-Kantur partnership consists of a total of 10 blocks. The project consists of 363 houses with areas ranging from 79 to 216 square meters, including 1 + 1, 2 + 1, 3 + 1 and 4 + 1 flats. Tema Istanbul Garden, which is planned to offer a garden and fun-filled life to the whole city; makes transportation a pleasure with the metro stop right in front of it. Tema Istanbul Garden, which is easily accessible to everyone from all backgrounds offers choices of garden for some and entertainment for others.

In the project;

• HDSV series booster sets with complete stainless frequency inverter,
• High quality expansion tanks,
• YNM series fire pumps in compliance with NFPA20,
• Enduro series wastewater pumps,
• Drainage pumps were used.

The variable speed control feature of the “FXA panel” used in HDSV booster system provides high energy saving. It is a pump control board with 4 lines of advanced assistant display, ABB ACS310 drive and advanced application macros. The pump is started by the driver based on the pressure need, is released to the network when it reaches maximum speed by making a soft start and the pump to be activated is started softly by the driver. When the pressure need decreases, the speed of the pump on the drive decreases to a minimum. If there is excessive pressure in the system, the pump in the network is stopped and the speed control of the pump on the drive ensures that the pressure is kept constant. 

Masdaf’s innovative Enduro Submersible Pumps are designed to eliminate the “liquid leakage” problem in the motor body components and where the motor supply cable is connected to the body. Thanks to its creative design, the helical stuffing box protects the mechanical seal and ensures a long working life by keeping the solid particles in the waste water away from the mechanical seal. There is a “water leak electrode” in the pump that warns of leaks early due to mechanical seal or any reason. The use of thermistor also provides protection against overheating of the motor.

Innovative pump and booster systems, commissioned by Masdaf will provide energy efficient use during the lifetime of a building, thus enabling energy-saving.
