”Sustainable Economy Can Be Established with Academia and Industry Cooperation”

Established brand of the Pump sector Masdaf continue to initialise endeavours to support academic studies of young engineering prospects.

Masdaf sponsored the “Fire Pump Training Room” in “Allianz Technical Earthquake Fire Test and Training Centre” established by Allianz Turkey in Turkish - German University campus in Beykoz with a TRY 30 million investment.

Masdaf sponsored the “Fire Pump Training Room” in “Allianz Technical Earthquake Fire Test and Training Centre” established by Allianz Turkey in Turkish - German University campus in Beykoz with a TRY 30 million investment. The training centre, where fire and earthquake test will be conducted, has been opened in October.

 Established with the goal to increase the awareness for social risks and raise capable engineers thanks to its technological infrastructure, “Allianz Technical Earthquake and Fire Test and Training Centre” will host fire and earthquake tests in international standards aimed at various industries. Furthermore, it includes an application centre serving as a laboratory where the students will conduct their academic studies and informative events will be held regarding the precautions to be taken regarding earthquakes and fires.

 Focusing on education with Mas Academy, Masdaf continues to establish exemplary initiatives as the sponsor of “Fire Pump Training Room” in “Allianz Technical Earthquake and Fire Test and Training Centre”.

Masdaf also prepared an exhibition stand where wheel sections of the environmentally friendly and economical pump technologies for the project, where YNM - End-Suction Centrifugal Fire Pumps and YPSP - Detachable Body Double Suction Centrifugal Fire Pumps will be displayed.                             

Furthermore, Masdaf will offer great contribution to the application centre thanks to the fire pump, serving as the fire fighting system of the building and the YPSP and Hexa selections where the piping can be displayed live.

 Masdaf General Manager Vahdettin YIRTMAÇ shared his view and said that; “Sustainable economy can only be established with academia - industry cooperation.  At this point, we the business world must contribute to the universities. As Masdaf, we offer education to university students every year as part of Mas Academy.  We are supporting the application centres of universities with our pump technologies.  We were also among the sponsors of Allianz Technical projects under Allianz Group established in Turkish - German University.  As the sponsor company of “Fire Pump Training Room” established as part of this project, we are very proud to support the high quality scientific work. Similarly, in this application centre which is the third test centre of Allianz in the world and is preparing for accreditation, we will be contributing to raising high quality engineers and technicians for our sector by hosting training events as part of this program and Mas Academy.”
