Masdaf, It Makes A Difference With Its Customer-Focused After-Sales Service Approach

 Drawing attention to the fact that the efficient and effective management of water resources is of vital importance within the scope of “World Water Day”, Masdaf Domestic Sales Manager Cem HANEDANOĞLU stated that with grey water recovery systems, up to 50% saving can be achieved from water used in houses and offices.

Due to the incorrect management and use of the water resources that are affected directly from global warming, 40% of the global population faces the faces the danger of drought. One billion persons are not able to access water while every year 1.5 million children lose their lives due to dirty water. Drawing attention to the fact that the efficient and effective management of water resources is of vital importance within the scope of “World Water Day”, Masdaf Domestic Sales Manager Cem HANEDANOĞLU stated that “Due to the global warming which threatens the world as a result of growing population throughout the world, greenhouse gas emission and similar reasons as well as industrialisation, the water resources are running out rapidly. Efficient and effective management of the waste water generated both in raw water transfer and distribution and after use is of vital importance for human life”.

Indicating that they effectively and efficiently manage the water with efficient pump technologies they produce for superstructure and infrastructure projects as Masdaf, Hanedanoğlu added; “With the purification systems developed for the efficient use of waste water we call as “grey water” which is other than black water (toilet water), that is chemical-free and faecal-free, originating from residences , from showers, bathtubs, sinks, kitchens, dishwashers and washing machines, up to 50% saving can be achieved from water used in houses and offices. Because, 50% of the waste water generated from residences is grey water. According to the calculations made, the daily amount of grey water consumed by a family of 4 is between 500-600 litres. For example, 5 to 10 litres of water is wasted in order to reach the comfort temperature of the shower in combi boiler heating systems. Taking into account that there are 10 million combi users in Turkey as of 2019 according to the data of TÜİK (Turkish Statistical Institute), we can state that millions of litres of water are wasted every day in our country. Use of grey water recovery systems will also decrease the amount of usage water necessary amount of domestic water due to the recovered water.

The purified water in the grey water recovery systems can be used in garden watering as well as in toilet reservoirs.
